- Hanging: The birdhouse comes with a 2 m long cord with a drawstring. Simply attach it to a sturdy branch, hook, beam, or on the balcony. Make sure it hangs freely and birds can land undisturbed.
- Location choice: Choose a quiet, partially shaded spot, ideally sheltered from the wind and not in direct sunlight. Keeping a distance from windows prevents collisions.
- Filling in winter: Fill the birdhouse with suitable bird food (e.g., sunflower seeds, fat balls, scatter feed). Make sure to refill regularly, especially during frosty periods.
- Use in summer: With an optional bowl, the birdhouse can be turned into a bird drinking fountain or bird bath. Refill and replace fresh water regularly.
- Care & cleaning: Clean the birdhouse regularly with warm water (without aggressive cleaning agents) to remove food residues and dirt. Wooden details can be wiped with a dry cloth.
- Year-round use: The LIVLIG birdhouse is weatherproof and can stay outside all year round. In extreme weather, it is advisable to choose a more sheltered location.
