Enamel is created by coating a prefabricated steel core with a glass coating, followed by a firing process that fuses both materials into an inseparable unit.

In this way, enamel combines the positive properties of steel and glass in a perfect way. The inner iron core is extremely robust, lightweight and proves to be an ideal heat and cold conductor and storage medium. The pore-free glass coating envelops the core, enables effortless cleaning, perfectly preserves aromas and gives the entire product an attractive appearance.

• Metallic or sharp objects can scratch the surface

To ensure that the enamel dishes remain beautiful for a particularly long time, we recommend washing the products by hand:

1. Use dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge
2. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust on open areas and limescale stains
3. Remove and prevent rust film: clean affected areas and occasionally re-grease with cooking oil
   

Even if the enamel coating is damaged, the dishes can still be used without any problems. The exposed steel will naturally oxidize and give your bowl a unique character. However, we advise against direct contact with food.

Due to its durability and resistance, enamel is practically impossible to destroy. Even if the coating is damaged, the products can be reused without any concerns. If you decide that you no longer want to use the dishes, you can efficiently recycle them as scrap metal .

The paper product packaging is easy to dispose of in waste paper and can also be recycled.
