Give the garden hose a winter quarters.

"Winter is coming, and with it the cold. Now is the time to give your wonderful Livlig garden hose a winter home alongside your plants. Even though a hose is also a sight to behold in winter, there is now quite a bit to do to ensure you can enjoy it for a long time to come."
Step 1 I Empty the water hose
First of all, you should definitely empty the water hose. The first night frosts are already here, so quickly get the water out, otherwise it will freeze. This should be avoided at all costs, because in such a case, the hose can burst – and not just that: The water tap attached to the hose will also be affected. So, remove the loose water hose from the connection and do the same with the connections at the ends.
In this task, you need to work particularly thoroughly. A small amount of water in the hose can cause it to become porous. Unfortunately, you will only notice this next summer when there are small holes in the hose.
A little tip from us - A tree or a strong man can help :)
"It is important that you let the water out on both sides. This is not entirely easy given the length of the hose. A tree can help with this: Hang the hose over high branches and let the ends hang down, then the water will flow out by itself."
Step 2 I Pack the hose well...
When you have freed the hose from the last remnants of water, pack it up well for the winter. For this, loosely coil the rolled-up hose together – best in very large loops (about 1 meter). This way it won't kink and won't become porous. If you have a hose pot, you can store it directly in the pot.

The last step is a frost-proof storage.
"Make sure to store the hose winter-proof after you have rolled it up. There should always be a place for the hose in a basement, in a garage, in a garden shed, or in a shed."
Our tip! With a hook, our treasures can be wonderfully hung on any wall, and since you have made large loops, they don't take up much space.
"Even though we have packed up our hoses with a bit of nostalgia - the next spring will come!"
